Enter the (Club) Void

During my Techno Vynil Junkie days I had a love affair with Christian Vogel's sound and I knew then that it would lend itself well to film. Christian Vogel would release allot of work on Tresor a record label I grew obsessed with. It featured a range of artists who had this experimental, story telling, soundscape imbued in their art. A detroit due named Drexciya was another favourite of mine.

This single reminds of waiting in the queue to get into a club that feeling of anticpation listening to muted highs and muffled bass. The scene from Enter the Void transported me to amazing nights spent on the dancefloor.
