No Point mentioning those bats, I thought. The poor bastard will see them soon enough.

Back in my Techno days when dreaming of playing to large arena sized audiences. I hoped one day to play this at the beginning of a mammoth 5 hour my set. I have no doubt that someone will have beat me to it. The entirety of the Original Soundtrack is outstanding.
During my Techno Vynil Junkie days I had a love affair with Christian Vogel's sound and I knew then that it would lend itself well to film. Christian Vogel would release allot of work on Tresor a record label I grew obsessed with. It featured a range of artists who had this experimental, story telling, soundscape imbued in their art. A detroit due named Drexciya was another favourite of mine.
This single reminds of waiting in the queue to get into a club that feeling of anticpation listening to muted highs and muffled bass. The scene from Enter the Void transported me to amazing nights spent on the dancefloor.
This video was posted to Vimeo in tribute to Gaspar Noe by another fan of his work.
Angelika Houston one of my favourite and most rarely seen actresses. My view could have been so different. After watching her transformation in the film The Witches I was plagued by night terrors for what felt like weeks and months. I suppose this is the first time (if you don't count when I cried after watching a scene in Sesame Streets: Follow that bird) that a film had a real direct emotional impact on me that has rippled into the present and effected my writing. Being older I understand that it wasn't just the transformative nature of the film but Angelika's performance without makeup.Domineering and powerful!
